Did you know the first two verses of Joy to World are written to make the star of The Sounding Joy stamp set?  So pretty.

Do you ever layer a card stock piece onto a card stock of the same color?  We usually think the purpose of layering is for contrast.  But, don't you like the elegance of color on color?  In this case, Cherry Cobbler is the card stock of choice.

Speaking of elegant, take a gander at the Very Vanilla 3/8" Velvet Stitched Ribbon.

Isn't that pretty?  Do you find if someone is wearing something with velvet sleeves you want to caress their arms?  Maybe it's just me . . .

Anyway, back to stamping.  The vanilla velvet ribbon has some body to it.   On this card I tied a simple knot.  Playing around I was able to make a bow, but it took a bit longer than with the finer ribbons.  With practice, I bet you could tie velvet bows fairly quickly.

Like to see another card using The Sounding Joy.  A simply elegant The Sounding Joy card idea.
