One of The Nicest Things is getting a handmade card in your mailbox!  A friend sent me a birthday hug over the miles with this adorable, now retired, The Nicest Things stamp set.

Godby With Us Stamper Sherrie Bryant made this adorable hand-stamped birthday card.  Just for me.   If the girls represent us, she only wishes she was the taller one.   Although, it certainly is hard to choose which dress I like better since I love both pink and green.  Golly, do you think that is why she used those colors?

How sweet are those little girls?  They are especially sweet framed in the also now retired Scallop Oval Frame Die.  Sherrie always does a beautiful job watercoloring.  Did you notice the shading in the pink dress?

The Happy Birthday greeting is from the Stampin' Up! Bring on the Cake stamp set.   The script writing coordinates with the other elements of the card.  Sherrie's card that could easily have been whimsical took a turn to elegant with her choice of accessories and colors.

Unlike the little girls and die-cut, Bring on the Cake is currently available to order.   Many great different birthday greetings to choose from.  Birthday greetings that are in whimsical to elegant in style.

The Nicest Things was last available in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog and is now retired.    There are times stamp sets stay around for a long, long time, like Lovely as a Tree.  But many others have a short life span of production.  If you are looking for a stamp set that is now retired, have a look at my listing of retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets.

I list retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets for nine of us.  This offers a large variety of styles to choose from.  Also increased the chances you finding the stamp set you have been searching for.

Eventually I will be adding a lot more to the list.  A stamping friend brought several fall stamp sets for me to list.  And, I have all my personal stamp sets to list that just retired from the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.  Have a look at the long list now and be sure to check back periodically to see what new additions there are.
