My sweet stampers came through in a big way to make my mom’s 80th birthday extra special! You’ll see why when you look at all the handmade birthday cards she received.
We had the family celebration the Saturday before her birthday. My mom and I planned to spend the day together having lunch out and doing some shopping. What she didn’t know was that she was about to be showered with birthday cards from women from coast to coast and Australia!
The look on her face as she opened the box was precious. I wrote that I’d wrap up all the cards and give them to her on her birthday. The box was wrapped with Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper (2021 Sale-a-bration free gift with $50 purchase) and Rococo Rose 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon. She could hardly believe how many handmade birthday cards were in that box!
She spent two hours or longer carefully opening each envelope, admiring every card, and relishing the handwritten messages. She kept repeating that she couldn’t believe how kind it was of each and everyone who made and sent a card for her.
Circumstances prevented her day from going as planned, but because of you, it ended on a high note! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and my mom’s. Now enjoy as you feast your eyes on all this talent.

Happy 80th to your Mother from USA, Maryland, Woodsboro-a tiny town. So happy all those women blessed your Mother!
Thank you!
I’m so sorry that I did not see that it was her 80th birthday. But, what a joy for your Mom to have all of these cards! God Bless her! And what a super idea that you had to bring her all that joy! Many blessings to you both and may your Mom enjoy many more birthdays! Thank you for sharing her!
Thank you!
That is so sweet! I hope your mom enjoyed them! They are all beautiful cards. I missed the part about sending cards for your mom or I would have jumped on that band wagon! Thanks for all you do Shelly!
She was awestruck!
I did that same thing last year for my aunts 97th birthday. I had all my friends near and far, make her special birthday cards. She was so surprised when she kept getting beautiful hand made cards and notes in the mail from people she didn’t even know. They all said they were friends of her oldest niece Barb 81 (me. ) We blessed her with over 25 cards. She was so surprised and had to show them to all her friends in the retirment home. She said I had the most talented and wonderful friends.
So sweet!
