The first unmounted rubber stamps Stampin’ Up! manufactured were the clear-mount stamps. The name must have come about because they still carried wood-mount too. The labels left something to be desired when it came to clinginess. That was resolved when they started making the new cling stamps. Wow, the stamps cling like crazy! And, now you can use the Cling Adhesive for any of your stamps that don’t stick as well as you wish.

Shelly: Thanks for the video. However, when I attach the new cling adhesive to my old labels and then put them on a mount or my stamparatus, the new adhesive stays on the mount when I try to remove it and does not stay attached to the old label. Do I need to remove some of the sticky from the cling adhesive? or? Thanks for your advice.
You’re welcome. I haven’t tried using converted clear-mount stamps to cling stamps with the Cling Adhesive. If I found what has happened to you happening for me, I’d have the spatula tip for the Take Your Pick Tool handy. Slide it under one end of the stamp to loosen the hold before removing the stamp from your Stamparatus.
